Joanie Clark
Thank you for visiting my website and your interest in my studio. It has been my privilege to teach piano and voice to many students in my private music studio. I have a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Memphis with graduate studies at Belmont University focusing on piano and voice. My past experiences in teaching were in Metro Nashville as a choral director at the high school level and at Donelson Christian Academy teaching K-4 through high school music. In addition to my private piano students, I also taught adjunct piano at Trevecca Nazarene University.
I traveled for two years singing all across America from Washington state to the East Room of the White House, Washington, DC. I have been a studio session vocalist, backing up many of Nashville's Christian artists and also singing on music publishing projects.
I offer piano and voice instruction for students of all ages. Learning music is a life long experience, and I encourage all ages to be involved.
All styles of music from Classical to Pop are taught. Ear training, theory, improvisation, music history, Piano Guild auditions, and recitals are all part of the curriculum.
A registration packet is available upon request that contains all information regarding tuition fees and payment schedules. I do not take lightly the task of teaching your child. It is my goal to provide you with an excellent piano and voice curriculum which will enable each student to acquire the music skills that will last for a lifetime of musical enjoyment. It is my hope that all students will excel at the gifts and talents with which they have been blessed.
Please feel free to call and schedule a conference or tour of the studio. The information is on the Contact Us page.

Music has a profound, positive, life-long effect on learning. This statement has been verified time and time again in research studies conducted around the world.
“Among children and adults, listening to music has been shown to enhance spatial reasoning which in turn facilitates skills essential for putting together puzzle pieces, solving geometry problems, analyzing numbers and information, and so much more. Music is essential to education today!”
